Sci-Fi Cleric Concept

This project's goal was to learn Marvelous Designer and create from scratch a character concept and it's outfit using what I learned and integrate it to my ZBrush workflow.
It's been a lot of fun playing around, learning and see the possibilities that Marvelous Designer offers. It makes outfit iteration a lot faster, the software is quick to pick up and seeing the simulations in real time and editing the oufit with the simulation running is amazing, even more if you have the character animate into a new pose and the garments adapt to it.
For the outfit I took inspiration from the traditional yukata and kimono, and kept the character overall style and patterns matching with the previous character found in my portfolio.
Character was sculpted in ZBrush, oufit was created in Marvelous Designer and further developed in ZBrush, UVs taken care of in ZBrush and Blender, textured in Substance Painter with some Photoshop support and rendered in UE5. (This project was created 8 months prior to this post.)

Garment Patterns created in Marvelous Designer (Some pieces of the back are cut in a weird way because I was just experimenting some ideas)
